A day in Alice.....

Hi there, all, just a day in Alice today...!! Went and saw Central Desert Shire Council and its CEO Roydon Robertson, and also Catherine and Muhammad - it's it grand to catch up with people you like..!! After that, a quick bite of lunch and then off to the golf range where I hurt my left forearm - going to be tough/interesting playing golf on Wednesday. Tomorrow I am going to the National Transport Museum in Alice and then go for a drive along the MacDonnell Ranges. Should have plenty of photos to share tomorrow. Could probably find some of me as a little boy just to brighten this post, but thought the better of it - cop enough abuse over my photo on Facebook (which is me, by the way)....!!

A quick view of Alice Springs

Infamous Todd River, which rarely flows (apart from this year). The saying is that if you see the Todd River flow three times you are destined to stay in Alice Springs all your life - not likely..!! The famous Bojangles Pub which can be viewed on the internet I believe real time, the Stuart Highway flowing through Alice and on through "The Gap" heading towards the airport, Uluru, and Adelaide. View of the lovely mountains that surround Alice, and finally, a young local enjoying the heat in a local park..!! Enjoy....!!
