Amazing, as it turned out, the spray sort of worked - not completely but enough for me to get a few hours sleep. Headed off about 8:30 for Queensland..!! Lots of remnants of the extremely heavy rain in Queensland and Northern Territory. Never cease to be amazed at the vastness of the Australian outback..!! Just look at the distances with nothing - just shrub land..!!
